First, a report that Stieg Larsson's partner plans to finish his fourth book, which was left unfinished at the time of his death. Steig Larsson's first book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, was our book group selection for February of last year. (Wow, has it been a whole year already?)
Second, a report about a protest by library users in Stony Stratford, UK, in which library users all withdrew their maximum allowance of books in order to clear the shelves and protest the planned closure of their library.
Finally, a site for World Book Night in the UK and Ireland, which will be March 5 of this year, and during which copies of books from the Book Night list will be handed out to "passionate readers." Sort of similar to our Big Read, only on a larger scale.
